Is it possible to get CD before CTC?

Finally got our initial approval from NFCU today after what feels like forever (6 full days in UW). It’s off to get final approval (AKA CTC). Our closing is supposed to be next Tues 8/6. My Processor says we have to receive & acknowledge the CD by Fri 8/2 in order to close on 8/6.

Will I most likely get my CTC by then or is it possible that even though I get the CD I will still be waiting until the 11th hour?

I thought I would feel relief by now, but I’m anxious again!

I know it’s not likely for it to fall apart at this point but after rebuilding I can’t help but worry!

It depends on the lender. I have the CD sent out 10 days prior to the close date to ensure we don't have any delays but a lot of lenders won't send out their CD until they have the CTC. I would ask your processor.
