I was wondering has anybody else used National City Mortgage and how long it took to get an approval?  I am going through a bond program, PFHA, with them and it is taking forever to get approved.  I didn't approved through AU, so now I have to go through manual underwriting.  It's been about a month now and still the underwriter hasn't gotten to the file.  On the bright side, the loan officer has been working her but off to put together a mortgage application that works in my favor.  Credit scores are 658, 641, 621, middle score was 629 when I applied for the mortgage.  How much longer can I reasonably expect to get an answer.  I am patiently waiting because I have some time, as I am still obligated under my apartment lease.  Any comments, thoughts, would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard good things about them and we are possibly going to work with them as well. I'd definitely give them a call. Our credit union gets back with us the same day, back said they have 50 applicants a day right now. Good Luck

I use them.  I got my loan 5 years ago.  The builder went gh a Mortgage broker since I was a sub-prime at the time.

Lucky for me that they gave me a shoot and lucky for them they were correct to bet on me.

I have had no prolems with them and I use auto-pay so I dont have to wrorry about paying on time.
