New mortgage reporting on credit reports

We closed on our home at the end of January. Our mortgage payments started March 1, so we have now made 3 payments. The mortgage is still not reporting to our credit reports. I had read that it typically occurs after the 3rd payment. Anyone have experience with it taking longer?

Thanks!

Re: New mortgage reporting on credit reports

There are some people whose mortgages never reports, just depends on the mortgage lender they got their mortgage with.  From what I've seen anyone who has OCWEN never has theirs report to the credit bureaus, whenever we do a refinance for someone we always have to get payment history verification directly from OCWEN.  Who is your mortgage with?

Our mortgage was almost immediately sold to Caliber Home Loans.

Re: New mortgage reporting on credit reports

I've heard of them, but they are a relatively small player when it comes to the size of company's who report mortgages to credit.  I've never seen one of their mortgages on a credit report.  You may want to contact them and ask if they ever plan on reporting.
