I have recently been pre approved for a FHA loan with a lender that I was talking to for a about 8 months before I actually did the pre approval process. I went to my credit union to see if I am able to get a better deal with them as my middle credit score is 652. I am still waiting to hear back from them on if or what I am pre approved for. I am applying for the DPA assistance with the SHIP program in county that I am looking to move. Right now with the times of buying, things are very slim picking. I am looking the Suwannee County, FL area. There is alot of manufactured home in that area, most of all the homes are modular or manufactured homes on land. Does any one know if I would be a able to get a new manufactured home and land with that FHA loan that I was pre appoved for? I am not sure how the process works with those.
