I got pre-approved, my app actually had to go to an underwriter, I submitted the ususal, paystubs ect..., made an offer, got accepted, under contract now, paid earnest money, submitted all my conditions to the lender, esigned a bunch of stuff...appraisal done, got an email from loan processor asking for home owners ins contact info and title co contact info. Sent that to loan processor, talked to my insurance agent he said he got a fax from the loan processor stating that the policy needs to be in my name...and that closing was scheduled for 3/25....umm problem is, no one told me...I have not gotten anything else....so should I go ahead and pay for the insurance or wait until I get final approval..if that will even happen....can someone shed some light for me?
Your LO dropped the ball. Contact your LO and find out how to proceed in regards to the insurance. I'm really surprised at the lack of communication from the lender.
Starting Score: EX 575/TU 534/EQ 570Sounds like they are waiting on the insurance binder so they can get a clear to close. You are pretty much there.
Thanks, the appraisal just came in late yesterday I did not sign off on it or anything...I am just so nervous that something will not go as planned....like I said tho my file had to go to an underwriter even before I got my conditional pre-approval....so really we are just wating for the ins binder? Sounds to good to be true....
Yeah thats it, and you will go back to final underwriting and they clear all your left over conditions and you get a clear to close. You pretty much are there if its just Apprasial and Insurance.
I hope that's all they needed at this point, I even signed a rate lock page...so all good from here on out?
You will have to sign a form for the apprasial, your processer or LO will send that over to you.
Have you called them up
No I haven't called them, I got an email late yesterday they just got the appraisal, actually on the appraisers website it said "in review" I was told that a copy will be sent to me once they have it (the lender)....waiting on that I guess now...this is killing me.....
Nah dont worry you are almost done
