Still waiting for CD's and a clear 2 close. My broker said last week they would be working on the CD's but nothing yet. I dont think we will be closing in Nov. I want to throw in the towel. I am so stressed out its not even funny.

I am stressed to the max with you. Still waiting on underwriting... it has been a week today. They have a 10 day ticker/turn around is what my lender tells me. Was hoping to be in before Thanksgiving but thats out the window.

Re: November 2020 Closers

I have to move to the December thread :-(. The bank's attorney requested we change closing from 11/30 to 12/1 without any reason given. I guess it could be worse, but the anxiety is killing me!

We went under contract in August, scheduled to close 9/30 but ran into some water intrusion issue. They weren't completely a surprise, costal homes have issues. Everything is resolved and we closed today. Now time to enjoy the beach for a while.

Re: November 2020 Closers

We close this past Thursday the 19th!!!!

The underwriting went off without a hitch.  they asked us a few times for bank statements and verified multiple times with our employers our status had not changed.  they also asked us to explain a credit inquiry, which was just from our application for the mortgage.  i was terrified they would ding me because my studen loan was in forebearance and i had a few overdraft fees on my checking 5-6 months ago but those never came up.

paid 1/8 of a point to lock in at 2.5% on a fixed conventional loan

purchase:  490K

5% down:  24,5000

Mortgage:  465,000

Loan: conventional

Rate:  2.5% fixed

Term:  30-year
