I am stressed to the max with you. Still waiting on underwriting... it has been a week today. They have a 10 day ticker/turn around is what my lender tells me. Was hoping to be in before Thanksgiving but thats out the window.
I have to move to the December thread :-(. The bank's attorney requested we change closing from 11/30 to 12/1 without any reason given. I guess it could be worse, but the anxiety is killing me!
We went under contract in August, scheduled to close 9/30 but ran into some water intrusion issue. They weren't completely a surprise, costal homes have issues. Everything is resolved and we closed today. Now time to enjoy the beach for a while.

The underwriting went off without a hitch. they asked us a few times for bank statements and verified multiple times with our employers our status had not changed. they also asked us to explain a credit inquiry, which was just from our application for the mortgage. i was terrified they would ding me because my studen loan was in forebearance and i had a few overdraft fees on my checking 5-6 months ago but those never came up.
