Satisfaction after being consolidated

Hey yall,

I just found my original copy of a letter stating that SallieMae considers my obligations to repay the loan satisfied due to it being consolidated with the US Dept of Edu...

Now does that mean I can know write  a goodwill for the lates and/or ask for them To update their information on all 3 CRA'S. and if they agree  should I expect a good outcome since they were double reporting ? Let me hear from you guys......thanks in advanced

Yes- now that the goverment is no longer backing those loans the servicer my legally make adjustment to previous payment history.

This does not mean that they will.

After my consolidation I had all 4 deleted from EX.  Working on EQ now.

I just could not have all those lates for years on my CR.

Timothy exactly what did you do to get them deleted? I was thinkin about faxing the letter I got from SallieMae/USA Funds and showing them what their own letter  states along with a goodwill  letter to revise.....thoughts?

I disputed in June when I knew they were too busy to deal with it. It was also when it was in the process showing consolidated on my report (had the pre-cons balance).

I disputed online "Paid in Full" and "Never late" in the comments. They were deleted about 2 days shy of the 30 days.
