So based on advice here even though I am looking at really starting to look a bit later this year (lease ends in December). I have found a lender I think I would like to work with. they actually work with the realator I have found and on the phone was very nice and informative. They will do everything EVEN underwriting before you even begin looking so she said the process when you decide can go very quickly to close. So enough of that on to my question.
I was sent a list of items I need to provide before we begin to evaluate my situation. I have all the documents but one. I had a foreclosure back in 2009 and this does limit me to a FHA loan. But one of the documents I need to provide is a Foreclosure Deed. I have googled and searched and I cannot find any information on how to get a copy of a foreclosure deed. Does anyone else have any knowledge on how I would attain this?
Thanks,
I am not the expert but I have not heard of a document called that. I am in a similar situation and for fear that I will be asked for similar documents, I have gone to the register of deeds where my foreclosure took place and downloaded all associated records for my property to show that it was transferred out of my name. If they asked me for a foreclosure deed I would be at a loss for what they wanted.
