UPDATE: CLEAR TO CLOSE!!!

Got my email today loan is clear to close! should get a hud by wednesday close on monday April 1!!!! The lender did tell me that there will be a credit refresh within 3 days of closing. I had posted some concerns about a paid and closed new account i talked to the lender about it today and he said should not be an issue at all.... Am i finally okay????

Sounds like your good. Who is your lender??? Its rare to do a refresh at this point, you sure they are not doing a GAP REPORT, which does not show scores?

Yeah I am pumped. The lender did say that they will do the gap report three days before close. I explained to him the new account and that has letters showing it was paid and closed as well as a receipt for my payoff. He said it won't be an issue an to keep the letter just in case. Finally now I can really start packing an getting excited. Thank you guys for being there. I hope I can be as helpful to a new buyer like you all have been to me. I really in no way shape or form would be getting this house if it wasn't for this board.

question: What exactly do they look at on a gap report? I do use my cash rewards card for all gas purchases but i immedietly pay the bill as soon as it posts online. i run about 400 to 500 a month on the card but it never reports a balance because i pay it immiedietly after charging the gas. Do they look at if you are using your cards or if you had like new new accounts added?

I too had the same concern and I was told they are looking at if you open new accounts. That means dont go getting a new lowes card or buying a 50k BMW.

If you use your cards, just pay them down.
