USAA VA Loan app

I was pre approved for $140k for a VA home loan through USAA. They have an online mortgage application process. I filled out the app and got the message "Unable to complete your request. To complete your application with a Loan Officer, call us at 877-243-2676 seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. CT."

Does this mean I was denied?

Not at all. Give them a call. It could be something as simple as your report was frozen, ID verification, etc. Since you already have a preapproval, why did you apply again or is this with two different lenders?

Usaa sucks. We have them for insurance and its still expensive compared to others. Anyways we started doing usaa mortgage and they sucked. Try navy federal credit union or a local bank. Gl

Just got finished with app. I've never had nothing but awesome experiences with USAA. I've been a member for almost 2 decades. They are easily accessible, and every rep I've ever had to deal with has been overly kind and helpful. I got a great interest rate, and great APR locked in. What sucked about USAA when you were app'ing for mortgage?

Uh they never got back to us on anything. Literally crickets. Oh and we once opened a checking account and that wasnt fun. They held both hubbys paychecks for about 15 days each time (same employer one right after the other.)
Our insurance rates are higher than any other place. Well be switching here soon, nothings changed on our end either. We've had usaa for 8 years now.
