USDA Guaranteed Housing Loan interest rates

Hello,

Does anyone know what the current rates are for the USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing Loan program? I'm trying to start the home buying process and don't want to call each bank individually in order to find out the rates. Has anyone done this program within the last few months and is willing to share their rates, score, and any other information?

USDA rates are usually identical or very similar to FHA rates, so if you see FHA rates advertised and that lender also does USDA loans then you should expect the USDA rates to be pretty close.  Credit score is the most important factor in determining what your options are and with most lenders usually the best/lowest/cheapest/etc. FHA/USDA rates are with 680-700+ scores, so if that benchmark is important to you then be sure to ask what it is and also what the difference in rate would be for the next lowest credit score tier.
