Re: USDA new construction

Keep in mind that opting out is not fool-proof.  If a creditor has a 'permissible purpose' to view your credit report, they can still do so at any time.

Re: USDA new construction

I am really worried about a crazy old collection popping its ugly head up now!  I have one that i know of. It is not on any of my reports but when I started rebuilding they called. I didn't recognize the account they were referring to and asked her to send me validation of the debt. She said I would receive something in 7-10 days and I never got anything. The CA was Midland and that was in July.

Re: USDA new construction

Update:

Received my disclosures yesterday and getting everything together to send back today along with the required documents.

Just got a SW alert of a score change. My rapid rescore hit and my EQ went up 35 points.  It was at 604 and is now at 639.  Seems like it worked. When she pulled my credit EQ was 604, EX 617 and TU 672.  Fingers crossed that EX went up at least 23 points, hopefully more just to give me some cushion!

Finally heard from my LO today. My mid score came up to a 680 with the rapid rescore and we are off to UW tomorrow.  Now cue the really nervous stomach!
