Veterans United waiting on final approval 2 days before close

Hello all,

As the title states im still waiting on my final approval from Veterans United as of today for my est close date of the 14th. I realize the close date is an estimate, but this process is wearing on me. VU has been great besides the sometimes lack of communication but maybe that is just me as Im a bit of a control freak. Im just wondering if this is normal? i have received the initial CD as per the 3-day law already. I just really want this to be over with. Maybe im just venting on here to feel better as im sure many people go through these same emotions. I feel like its all going to fall apart last minute for no reason and i hate that.

No, it is not normal to not have your final approval 2 days prior to your closing date but it does happen.

I had a VA purchase close Friday where we received the final approval at 4M on Thursday and the closing package went out to title at 5M.
