Add a joint owner to my Nfcu

Yes.  In order for you to be able to add her, she has to be qualified for you to be able to do so.

Yes, they will pull. Anyone that has to be added to any account with them has to qualify.

I don't know about Penfed so hopefully, someone who has added an AU with them can answer your question. But I am thinking it is probably the same.  The credit unions are different from the big box credit card companies.

The reasoning behind saying it will be the same with Penfed is that the AU will have access to the account and to be able to do that, one has to be a member to do so.

Penfed does not require an HP to add an AU. I added someone to my Platinum Cash Rewards.

My DW is a joint owner of my NFCU account - perhaps it was because I did so on the original application, but I can confirm only my TU was pulled when the acct was opened
