I just wanted to contribute some DP for my Amex Personal Loan. I logged on to my account and there is was in the list of transactions. You are pre-approved for an Amex Perosnal Loan, learn more.
So I decided to see what they were offering and they offered up to 20K at 12.89%.
A couple of weeks ago I was in the market for a personal loan for some debt consolidation and I decided to take a Marcus Loan for 13.99% for 11.5K. I did want more but I started with this amount.
So I decided to pull the trigger for Amex for the 20K. I figured it was not a hard pull and if approved I would be able to payoff the Marcus loan and some consolidate more debt.
THEY INSTANTLY APPROVED ME FOR THE 20K!
So as soon as it hits my account I will pay off the Marcus loan and some more of my credit card debt.

Well, I believe since I have an established relationship with Amex, the pre-approval was a soft pull and there was no hard pull.
Dang, I dig Amex. Not too shabby.
