Best Personal Loan

Hello All,

I need to secure a personal loan of about $30-$40k.

I need recommendation of banks that will only pull TransUnion as my fico 8 is currently 725.

Thanks for your help and recommends.

  • BK Discharge 8.20.25
  • Discover (Authorized User) - $3,000 on 8.21.25
  • CapOne Quick Silver - $3,000 on 8.26.25
  • Mission Lane SL - $2,100 on 9.1.25

Re: Best Personal Loan

It's not a bank but try with LendingClub they only pull TU and when I did previously go 'loan shopping' lol they gave the highest offer (not sure if they have a cap I didn't ask for that amount) BUT they will show you their offer before you accept.      I only point to them because I know they only touched my TU when I did.

Re: Best Personal Loan

Most banks pull from Equifax is my understanding so I don't know a bank to recommend for TU

Re: Best Personal Loan

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on Navy Federal.

I got approved for a $30k personal loan.

I'm pleased so far.

Re: Best Personal Loan

Try light stream AND if you're ok to provide tax & POI docs then discover is also good.

Sure the process was very easy. I simply applied and it went into review. I called about 2 hours later they stated that they need to verify my address. I'm assuming because I just got a PO Box and the post office reported it to some of my creditors...(go figure)

They said I should have an answer within 2hrs and right on the button I got an approval text 2hrs later.

My journey has been very low but I'm on a high now. This time last year my scores were in the 500's. 570-590.

I'm sold my home paid some debt, now I'm in the 720s with a new home and respect when it comes to requesting credit...LOL
