This was my 1st full month with my local credit union's, Communication Federal Credit Union, Pay Me Checking Account.
We made 111 debit card transactions and the rewards amount was $11.10 which is not too shabby.
Wow that's a lot of transactions!
When you have 5 kids under 7 with (2) of them in diapers/pull ups, you have a ton of transactions. 😝
Without going to their website, what is Pay Me Checking? I'm guessing they pay you 10c per transaction?
Just imagine, that $11.10 you earned could have been $55.50 with primis' 50c per transaction!!!
@ptatohed that is correct. It is $0.10 per transaction.
A couple more perks are that they reimburse up to $10 in ATM fees per month, member of Co-Op Shared Branching, no FTF.
I have tried to get a Primis Account but when I login to continue my application, it logs me out, and I repeat the process over and over. It is weird.
For how much the 111 transactions? If you used a CC with say 4%, what would you have saved instead?

I am curious. Is a there a reason you choose use this cash back debit card as opposed to a cash back credit card?
@kremonis I have student loans and a mortgage. No other debt. While I figure I could pay it off monthly, I just would rather not have the "temptation" of over using it. With the debit card, there is no overspending it. It has worked well for us, fortunately. 🙂
