Cap One 360 Performance Savings Account Bonus: Earn $300 - $1500

This offer is not new, it was offered last Fall but it is back (as of April '24).  I don't see an expiration date.  I searched but I don't think this offer was discussed here.  I'm a sucker for bank bonuses that do not require direct deposit.  The deal for this one is:

• Deposit $20,000+ and get $300 bonus
• Deposit $50,000+ and get $750 bonus
• Deposit $100,000+ and get $1,500 bonus

90 day holding period.  4.25% APR.

I'm for sure doing the $50k, thinking about doing the $100k.

Ok, I went for it tonight.  I went for the full $100,000 ( I made it $100,001 just in case, lol).  It was super easy since I already have Cap1 credit cards and they knew much of my information and even my funding account (used for auto pay on my credit cards).  Same username and login as my cards.  Now my dashboard simply shows a 4th tile for the new Savings Account next to my 3 cards (long-closed Quicksilver, Barely used SavorOne, regularly used Walmart).  Looking forward to a free 1500 Georges in 90+ days (and 4.25 APY along the way).

Wow, that's a lot of risk for $1500.

I don't know if could have that much trust in Capital One.

I recently initiated a transfer of 10k from one account to another, and after a week of my money being no where to be found, I had to contact both banks to find out where the f*** my money was.

Got it back within 48 hours, but now what little trust I had in banks is even less.

I hope it goes smoothly for you though.

Don't forget to update us when you get paid by C1, and when/if you're able to transfer your money back out of the C1 account.

@ptatohed after this, do the Merrill Self Directed bonus. Then ask for Merrill Preferred Deposit program or whatever it's called, requires $100k deposit (4.7% apy). Then you'll have Preferred Honors Platinum and eligible for top tier CC rewards while getting another bonus with this lump sum.

Thanks @Wu-Credit !  Do you have a link please?  I am definitely open to doing another bonus offer after this 90 day period.  I'll need to wait as I am running out of liquid 100,000s, lol.  I have been thinking a lot about BoA and becoming Platinum Honors Tier for the 1.75x CC rewards multiplier.  TY!
