Capital One CheckingAccount experience

Well I feel Cap 1 dropped the ball when it came to the only Cap 1 Banking/Cafe in Scottsdale Az. The next closest real branch is in Tx and after that they are all on the East coast as per the Cap 1 employee in the cafe.

You would think they would put in a real bank and tellers here, nope just basic account service and an atm, so called digital services. For the only Capital One in Az, they failed to offer full services for issues that will arise.

A issue arose when I need to take cash out, my debit card hadnt arrived and since I had to add a new email to my zelle profile Capital One has imposed a 15 day wait period for this new email to be used for Zelle.

Was not happy yesterday when I couldnt take my money, but lucky for me my debit card did arrive when I checked the mail.

So far my experience with Cap 1 has been lackluster and that $250 SUB will be earned lol

I would not doubt that lol...I would take a screen shot and tell them about that. I am going to do 1 more direct depoist and change the DD to another bank. Its a free account, but I have zero customer service in Az

Re: Capital One CheckingAccount experience

Yea I don't want to poke the bear.

im not planning on receiving any real employer payroll DDs

im just going to try pushing $501 from my WF and my US Bank checking accounts twice from each, get the bonus, write some free checks they're sending me to pay  some bills, transfer the rest out & close the account.

if the WF or US bank ach pushes don't work I'm probably going to be opening a fidelity CM account soon just for pushing deposits for bonuses, so I'll give that a try.

Cap One has cardless withdrawals using their app at their cafés. You didn't even need to wait for your card or use Zelle. I think the café name implies it's not a full service branch.Screenshot_20250107-182934-376.png

Re: Capital One CheckingAccount experience

I liked the $350 sub. Their savings pays decent interest. What's not to like? I didn't expect to get cash from a bank with no local branch, I use Huntington for cash. I haven't tried their coffee shop, I think they have one at easton. Seems like ordering seafood at a steakhouse, lol.
