Just as a DP I was offered an upgrade to CPC with a green star. What's worth noting is that I only maintain about $10k in Chase accounts which includes a small investment portfolio. I'm younger (35) and think this may be an offer in which Chase wants to grow with us as we do move a good amount of money through them. In the next 8-10 years I'll receive a large payout when I "retire" which would amount to $200-250k.
I don't plan to accept the offer as it isn't worth it to me at this point. Just thought it was interesting that they offered it with like 5% of their normal minimum in account balances.
Its also worth nothing that I have CSR and Hyatt cards which have seen about $20k in spend so far this year. CSR is one of my DDs and the addition of CFF or CFU would lead to 95% of spend going to Chase. Until then it's mostly split between CSR and AR.

I don't think it's that rosy. I think they'll still expect you to place 250k worth of accounts with them.

It may not be rosy at all. Just found the invitation to be extremely...odd and interesting.
