Does anyone have any experience with them? I can join them thru American Consumer Council. To answer the question what makes this credit union special is there CD rates are higher than most if you go out for a term longer than a year to three years. Doctor of credit had two users report denied with 8 inquiries in the last 12 months and another with 50 in the last 12 months. I have 3 in the last 12 months and 7 total in the last 2 years. Any other information any might be able to would appreciated. Yes I am aware of Signature FCU.

Thanks for answering the 'special' question ASC! ![]()
Those actually are pretty good rates for long term. Good find.
I'm not even sure I have seen 10 year CDs before!

ASC, what term are you looking at?
@ptatohed I was looking at 18 months to 3 years something in that range.

Andy, ok, but do look around, there might still be better than Human. Human seems to beat, say, popular direct in most of the month ranges you listed. Although a quick look at popular direct shows 4.25% for 36 months vs Human's 4.11%. So, Human looks to be very competitive, but do search around before you commit. Good luck!

@ptatohed Thank you for the information on Popular Direct that is another good option. Are you a customer of Popular Direct?
I have expanded my search a little bit US Treasury 2 to 3 year notes is 4.23 to 4.26 as of now. I am also considering buying individual short term investment grade corporate bonds 2 to 3 years till they mature. There are trade offs one no FDIC insurance versus better rates ie 4.5 to 4.7 percent. Still have time to think and research the funds from the matured CD won't be available til January 7th.

ASC, I am a customer of popular direct. I have only been using them for the HYSA, I have not bought their CDs yet. I have quite a few Sallie Mae CDs (some as high as 5.4%) maturing soon, so I'll need to think what to do. Do consider T-Bills - they are pretty competitive with CDs and you won't get taxed by the state.
