I find this is a very viable option to earn rewards on purchases under $2. I use it way more than my BankAmericard Cash Rewards, especially for when I purchase delicious 53-cent cuban coffee!

I wish this would apply to bill pay too!
Side note, when discover removed the redemption threshold for CC rewards, they also got rid of it for their Checking account too. There used to be a minimum $25 rewards balance before you could transfer it to your Discover IT rewards balance. Now you can do it with any amount. (I did it with $1)

Do they give you 10 cents for paying your Discover card? Or do they make an exception for that?

I haven't done that.
