In the past I joined it. I just did it in the usual way, joining online, making the deposits electronically.

it does seem that things hv changed now wid dis cu...
I live close to the Manhattan beach branch... i applied online, got a call and they said they're encountering too much fraud from online apps... so they denied it, but the employee said I can head down to the branch within 2 weeks and it would be approved... I did that and it was approved with a manager override.

Do u mean we are not allowed to apply online?
You can apply online as many times as you'd want. Now if their risk management department approves the application is another question.
go ahead and try again! You lose nothing apart from a few minutes on the application.

ok... tnx
Janneman,
After reading a few posts on another forum, it looks like Kinecta FCU is declining all online applications. If I were you, I'd either apply in a branch or join a CU closer to you. There are other CU's out there. In today's climate, the rewards may not be worth the effort.
