So me and DW signed up for a SSL with NFCU last month and just wanted to share the experince with you all. I signed her up first with $3500 and was able to get a 60 month term. I have seen a few post latley where people been wanting to do 5k so that for sure they get 60 months and not be countered offerd at 36 months but it worked flawless for us. Once she signed the documents the next day the money was in her checkings account. 2 days later i made the first payment . All this was done in time for her first reporting at the end of the month to give her a score boost of 25 points ! This was on experian im just waiting so i can get the scores from the others in a few days and i will update.
For me .. i was not able to get everything done in time for this months reporting but i will hopefully see the score boost next month. After i made her first payment i used the same money and set up my SSL for $3200 @ 60 Months and everything went smooth as well. Once it reports i will update you guys with my progress on my end .

For the ones that might be following this i wanted to give an update..
So this morning i was finally able to update DW reports and got the final numbers for adding a SSL to her reports. The increase are +28 for equifax and +32 for transunion . Over all very happy all this worked out for her .
I will update in about 5 days my final outcome.

Yes you can prepay to push out future payments. I paid 92% down on first payment.
