I am back to seedling. We went ahead and put the new car in my name for the best rates possible and I app'd for a credit card while I was at it. Back to the garden for who knows how long.
Life is good. I officially have fully moved (at least on paper) to my new role. I joked today that I work in every department. But it pays the bills and lets us do crazy things like buy brand new Mazda CX-9's so we can cruise around in style.
Just a couple more weeks of work this year and then some much needed downtime in the Rio Grande Valley. I have been intermittent fasting and trying to drop some pounds so I can be prepared to gain them all back in the valley.
Time to go clean the kitchen, it's late but I had a lot of coffee while waiting for the dealer to do the paperwork earlier. Will try to check in periodically this month.
Congratulations on your new CX-9! 😁

Updated my signature. My 2nd One Nevada card received a CLI to $6k automagically. I asked Discover for a CLI on my 1st card, granted for $1,500. I'm going to call in the morning and see if there was anything left on the table.
Scores will be updated on the 2nd or 3rd (When I get free time).
Congratulations on your CLIs!

"ALEXA, set reminder"
Whoopsie-doo 😬
Usually someone posts a reminder toward the end of the month on the GC thread about USB and balance reporting. Hopefully, your balance wasn't substantial on the card.
$200 / $10k limit
That's what I call a "nuisance balance," LOL.
Last month Amex was slow to credit the Hulu subscription on my Platinum, and it closed with (and reported) a ~$17 balance.
No biggie - FICO doesn't care - but Vantage didn't like it (which matters since that's what Synch uses these days).
If only all my life problems were so trivial, ha.
If that was the only problem I had with Amex, I'd be pleased as pie. Last month, someone figured out my username and password to my Amex account, logged in on a mobile device, then added their bank account, and proceeded to make a payment to my $0 balance card. I freaked out (necessary), and while on hold with Amex to claim a fraudulent payment to my account and get a replacement card, I quickly changed my password and added 2FA. Weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.
... that's a new one I'd not heard of. 🤔

Welcome back to the garden!
The youngest was having a morning, but we managed to get her up dressed and in the SUV. I needed to drop recycling off at the parental units house and I as I did I noticed the oldest had forgotten her water bottle. She has to have it so I'll be making a return trip to her school to drop it off. After yesterday I've not plans other than laying on the couch today. I woke up sore through my midsection this morning.

Thanks, @UncleB ! Same to you!
.....is it January yet??? 😉
Oh how I wish we could just fast-forward four weeks.
I would pay money for that!! 😁
I wouldn't. I'm in no hurry to see snow and 0F temps.
If we were to jump directly to March 1st, different story.
Good morning everyone!!

Oh, to have such warmth at 0F temps ... ! It is -2F temp right now on Thursday, December 1 2022 at 8:27am ... got'ta love it?
The best part is we generally have snow from November 1st through mid-April at a minimum.
Since @expatCanuck enjoys it so much ... this might be the right clime for him as we have: skiing, ice fishing, hunting, hiking, R-ving, snowmobiling, golf, canoeing and of course cross country events ...
One thing we do not have are Atlantic Ocean Lobsters but, the fish are great ...
