GreenSky

Hey Fico Family,

Mom recently brought some windows and financed with this company for 5170 @ 0% for 24 months. When we received her loan agreement Suntrust Bank was on the paperwork and not GreenSky and this loan has yet to post to her credit reports. How long does this take and does anyone have an experience with this company and why Suntrust Bank would be on the agreement?

Re: GreenSky

I suspect GreenSky is the company that sold the windows and Suntrust Bank is who they financed you through.

Your FICO credit scores are not just numbers, it’s a skill.

Re: GreenSky

From Wikipedia,

"GreenSky LLC is a financial technology company founded in 2006 based in Atlanta, Georgia. The company provides technology to banks and merchants to make loans to consumers for home improvement, solar, healthcare and other purposes.[1] Financing for GreenSky credit programs is provided by federally-insured, federal and state-chartered financial institutions.[2] From 2012 to 2016 nearly $5 billion had been lent through GreenSky credit program."

Sounds like a Consumer Finance Account.

Re: GreenSky

I have a customer that we paid off her green sky loan. It was odd because I sent the payoff to suntrust but they had nothing to do with it other than funding green sky loans. Green sky handles all of their own accounts and payoffs and all that. She paid 4400 out of 8000 for paying it off early (or more correctly refinancing it with me). Hope this helps!
