I applied for membership at NFCU over the Independence Day Weekend and it went to pending review. Got a return email requesting docs so forwarded those and another email came back saying "Thank you For emailing Navy Federal's Membership Operations. Please allow
up to two business days for your correspondence to be reviewed and a response returned."
Today got an email "We're excited to welcome you to the Navy Federal family-thank you for joining!"
Congratulations, CM7, nice job. I'm in the Navy now, too (well, not the real Navy)

This is absolutely perfect in a sense that in securing such a special membership with them now and in my case just relax awhile and build up the deposit accounts first and then later down the line give their credit products some attention.

This is my plan as well - I can't imagine they'd approve anything 2 mos post BK, and I have all the credit I need until November...hopefully they'll look at me then

They're not going anyplace and all of those different products will still be there just the same later down the road
