Update: Denied

 

Reasons was a host of the typical jibberish.

 

I honestly believe it was my dirty TU Oh well, I got a couple other fires on the burner. Thanks again CC for providing me contact info.

Just figured I'd chime in with my DPs. I applied in early March and they pulled TU for me as well. Mine was not an instant approval either and I got a verification call I think the next business day about my assets before I got a decision.

For those that have had experience with the loan process is this normal to have an app reviewed? What do you think my chances are of approval with a dirty profile? (I have heard that they like clean profiles and higher Fico scores)

 

 

 


I applied last week with a 768 TU score and was denied due to not having enough assests to refinance a 32K car loan. I really wouldnt sweat it much I would look into a CU. Funny thing is the same bank gave me a 15K loan for my windows just 2 months ago. Which I did not use beacuse the window company has stopped working. I spoke to a supervisior and everything and basically was like how much money do you expect someone to have in the bank when the loan started at 40K over almost 2 years ago... He really couldnt answer me I am sure he felt exactly where I was coming from and that there policies are just dumb.

Yeah, I pretty much had a feeling when it wasn't an instant approval to at least a response back within the hour that something was up. If it wasn't for @CreditCuriosity  providing me with the contact number, I wouldn't have even known my app had been denied until I received a letter most likely. Well if anything has come from my experience it looks like they may be trending towards pulling TU now. Good dp's @CaptJOB  @Harvey26  Thanks!

Would any of you happen to know if possibly freezing TU and EXP would force them to pull EQ? Or do you think they would insist on pulling TU?
