Most efficient savings account setup.

I just setup an AMEX high yield savings. My plan is to transfer 10% of my net paycheck.

(before OT.. I work a lot of OT)

I understand a few accounts will give you “X”% of Up to a balance of “Y.”

My question is, what are the best savings accounts to max out on top of using A regularly deposited savings account?

Re: Most efficient savings account setup.

Besides AMEX's high yield savings you mentioned, DaveinAZ posted the following in another threads:

There are other limited savings accounts:

DCU credit union pays 5.12% on savings up to $1k, I have that maxed out.

Premier Members credit union pays 4% on a money market account up to $2k, I have that maxed out.

The rest of my savings is primarily with Amex.

Re: Most efficient savings account setup.

I would search engine "High Yield Savings" and see what you find.  There are some walkthroughs on the interwebs that will tell you which high-interest-savings-to-get.

That's a great start... I invest in bank sign up bonuses... I'm on track to get between $2-3k in sign up bonuses... Much better than just 1.75%...check out Dr of credit for more info
