I noticed recently that MCU has greatly expanded its field of membership eligibility.
In the past it was open only to employees of NYC, and their families.
Now it's open to:
- Individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in New York City (NYC)
- Individuals who work for New York State (NYS) or Federal Employers
- Immediate family members of existing members
What is special about MCU?

Well, being serious, I would say their best feature is that they have very low interest rates on their credit products -- car loans, mortgages, personal loans, and credit cards.
