NFCU 5% Certificate Coming Next Week

In case anyone is looking for a CD/certificate soon...I got an email from NFCU yesterday alerting that they are launching a 15 month certificate with a 5% APY beginning Monday, Jan 9th.  This seems to be the highest rate for a certificate/CD with at or around a 1 year term currently offered, unless y'all know of another one?

As a point of interest (pun intended), NFCU will allow you to close a CD prior to the maturity date and move those funds to a new CD without penalty if the new interest rate is significantly higher and/or the term on the new CD is longer. They do this as a customer courtesy.

I truly love NFCU Heart

Not to mention you can add to the CD whenever periodically throughout the term of the CD.
