NFCU CLOC Reporting Question

I read in another thread that a member had a CLOC for 15 months & yet it hadn't once reported to any CRA. Is this common? Is a loan on the account necessary to "activate" the reporting? Also, if/when it reports, it does so as a revolving account, yes?

It took me a good 4-5 months before mine ($10k) began to report.

Re: NFCU CLOC Reporting Question

Mine took around 2 months to report, it shows up as "a line of credit" /revolving on my reports

Thank you AT & JnB. Did either of you find it showed up after you used it first?

Mine took roughly ~5 months to report. Haven't used as of yet.

Bottom line, it'll eventually report, even without usage.

Re: NFCU CLOC Reporting Question

I'm not noticing a discernible pattern here. Yes, no, maybe so.

Thank you all for the answers.

Mine started reporting to all 3 bureaus shortly after being set up, and has continued to report to all 3 bureaus every month.

As others have said, I've never utilized it to date either.  Sooner or later, it'll report regardless.
