the Bankcard scores are 40+ point difference. they checked TU for my CC, and approved 2 weeks ago
NFCU doesn't use bankcard scores
They use their own scorecard 150-450, but its based on TU04.
I have a big variance between my TU 04 and TU 08, and its hurting me at NFCU, oly have a secured card with them now.
I hate TU04.
What are your scores, if you don't mind? HAve you had any setbacks like CO or Bankruptcy? I have.
@Anonymous wrote:Agree with Scupra. NFCU is not useless. Your issue is with Equifax, and also with the credit card companies whose data is not being reported. You need to work with all three of them to get it corrected, even if you have to make the same request several times. Sorry this happened.
It would be nice and logical to just have one credit reporting agency. It's seriously a joke to have three different ones... It results in a stupid guessing game about who pulls who and creates inaccuracies in credit reports. While we're at it, everyone should just use one FICO score model. Consumers need to be protected a lot more with credit pulls and scoring.
Credit Bureaus don't report anything the information from the companies are reported to them and the companies do not have to report to all/any of them, that is why our scores range due to different information on them. My Mortgage only reports to one bureau and I had a 30 day late payment almost 4 years ago on it. Guess which bureau I have the lowest score on. You can call and ask which bureau they will pull and 50/50 they will tell you. I have to ask because I have to unfreeze my reports prior to applying for any new credit. hope this helps.
