Apparently NFCU is experiencing some "difficulties" on their website, which may show the following messages:
"This account information is for informational purposes only. One or more of your accounts are in litigation."
"To discuss your case, obtain up to date account balances, or to make payment arrangements, please call xxx-xxx-xxxx to receive contact information for our attorney.(phone number left out)"
"Your account information is being provided for informational purposes only. Providing you this information is not an attempt to collect a debt."
Rather than call the number listed, I called their 24/7 contact number listed on their website, and they stated they are experiencing problems with these messages being shown on some customers' accounts by accident. The rep suggested I clear cookies to fix it. I tried a different browser & the messages didn't show up, so it looks to be some kind of browser/cookie/other error that NFCU knows about & is working on. The rep also verified my accounts are in good standing.
