NFCU

I just recently joined NFCU and was wondering if anybody had any information on what this NavCheck or CLOC is about? Seems to me everybody loves it and and NFCU seems to be pretty loose with SL.

Re: NFCU

It is a overdraft protection line of credit attached to your checking account. You can request up to $15k. You can access it by overdrawing your checking or writing checks directly from it.

Re: NFCU

Depending on credit profile the PenFed PLOC may be a better option for you.

My NFCU NavCheck is for $15K but has a 13.9% interest rate (lowest they offer)

My PenFed PLOC is also at $15K (I believe you can go higher) and it is at 10.25% (guessing as I am not currently at home).

Both offer a great way to float yourself a short term loan.

For those in WA State, BECU's PLOC is even better at 8.9%.
