I know that the checking account and Navcheck has the same account number but what I want to know is that can i make purchases using my debit card if i have no money in the checking account, which will then pull from the CLOC?

Hey, Shawndoe. I've gone through some earlier posts regarding how to use the Navy CLOC, and if I remember correctly, an earlier poster (maybe Humu?) said debit card purchases will be approved and will be pulled from your CLOC when your checking has a zero balance. And, I believe it will continue to do so even when your checking account is in negative status. I know for a fact that if you pay a bill through your checking and there's not enough to cover it, it pulls from your CLOC. Within hours, checking account reflected a zero balance again, and the new balance was showing up in the CLOC. On another note, the new CLOC balance was reported very quickly to the credit bureaus. Was surprised about that. Hope this helps!
