For those of you who have taken advantage of the special rate CDs e.g. 3% APY 5 month CD or 2.25% 15 month CD, how does this work? At the end of the CD term, are you offered the same rate again? Or once they no longer offer the special rate, do you have to reinvest the funds into a different CD?

minski,
I had one CD renew for the 2.96% earlier in the year. When my others renews, I guess they will renew for whatever rate they have available. I always call them the day it renews to see what the best rate is. I haven't moved a CD out of NFCU yet, but I have at other bnks and credit unions when I can find a better rate elsewhere.
