Navy Fed Contactless Debit Cards

Hey everyone,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was looking at the feature of Navy Fed's checking accounts and it appears the debit cards have a new design and the contactless symbol attached. I called and they said they began issuing them on May 17th, I'm in the process of seeing if I can get one ordered.

Mine is older, so I am pretty sure it does not.

Please keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks

I just got off the phone with them. They did issue a new debit card with contactless, I should be receiving it Monday morning, waived the expedited delivery fee for me.

Re: Navy Fed Contactless Debit Cards

That's funny... received my new debit card on May 16th and it's definitely the old style. Hoping my Visa CC is contactless, but it's less of an issue for me on the debit card.

They did say that it started on May 17th. I prefer not having to hand my card over, and I'm hoping they have gotten rid of the embossed card as well.

Both flagship rewards and cashrewards are contactless for me. I also got mine expedited. SHe mentioned they do it all the time, and I did mention coronavirus so I'm not sure if that's why, or if it's a normal procedure.
