Navy fed app

I was approved for the Gorewards with NFCU $1300cl
In February.
I didn't know i should have appd the cloc at that point too.
I have put heavy usage and multiple payments on my account so far.

My question is,
Would it be worth trying to the cloc now?
It's a seperate pull than CC anyway, right?
Plus from what i read, the cloc is the same pull they use for auto loan, I'll be looking into a refinance or new auto loan here soon too.

I like to think that them seeing how I've handled my card thus far, would help me on approval for the cloc.

Re: Navy fed app

Their credit card dept and consumer loan department are totally separate. If you are okay with another HP-yes it will be a HP I say go for it. Your reasoning on your handling doesn't hold much weight IMHO. Keep in mind your account is still so new to have history with them.

Re: Navy fed app

When you apply for the CLOC also inquire about the auto loan at the same time and they possibly can approve both from the same report, I didnt know that the two departments were connected and they repulled my credit report after 3 days of being approved for the CLOC.

Re: Navy fed app

Depends on who you speak with.

They tell you that it's possible they may use the same pull but, they also tell you that it's possible they might do another Hard Pull.

They are usually really good about it.

If they're going to do another HP when you do the CLOC then you might as well apply for the auto loan if you need it. If it's going to be the same inquiry.
