So I have 43,000 in debt. My car payment is 578. I just got a part time job to help pay off my debt. I'm so excited. Can not wait to be debt free. My house hold income will be about 74000 with the part time. We need about 40,000 a year to leave off of (daycare). So I will pay off the debt in about a year and half or so. After that I plan to save for a house and invest so I can retire with a good 401k. Also plan to invest in mutual funds and open a Roth IRA for DH (his job doesn't offer 401K). So wish me luck. I actually will enjoy my part time job. It's in the CC dept granting credit to people. Basically were you call when you want a credit line increase or the stores calling because some one applied for a cc. I love the rush of apping so now I get to do it as a job. Yei!
