Prosper Healthcare lending

I applied for prosper healthcare lending and it was a SP. They sent a letter stating my TU Score was 604. I checked with Trans Union and even called and verified that it is 631. Why would there be a discrepancy? I still won’t be approved since they require a 640 (wish they would’ve told me that before applying!) but I contacted them anyway and asked why such a difference.

Re: Prosper Healthcare lending

I know Marcus by Goldman Sachs uses TU for their personal loans, but they use the FICO 9 score. Maybe Prosper does too. When I applied I knew my TU was 739 but it came back as 703 and it was because it was FICO 9. The 739 was the 'usual' one used by CC companies which is FICO 8.

Re: Prosper Healthcare lending

I guess I need to read up on the difference between FICO 8 and 9 and Advatage 3.0. This is all confusing.
