Reopening a close US Bank account?

My husband has a bank account he started with US Bank like 15 years ago. We opened a new one with a different bank a few years ago and eventually switched all of our banking to this newer bank. One day I went to log in to the US Bank account and it said it was closed (for non use). Is it possible to reopen the old account, it has history and we really don't want to open a new one just have that one going agian?

Has anyone done this or looked into it?

Thanks

Re: Reopening a close US Bank account?

More than likely you will have to open a new account. You will have to ask the bank if they will reopen the old account, but I doubt it.

Your FICO credit scores are not just numbers, it’s a skill.

As mentioned above, you can always contact US Bank, but in all likelihood they will not be able to reopen the account.
