Maybe my reply is a bit late,
Was traveling abroad a few months ago (Europe), Costa Rica and India and made pretty much Samsung Pay Purchases everywhere.
Yes, Samsung Pay worked pretty much 95% of the times where it was just an age old terminal (via MST).
I could rarely find NFC support in Costa Rica. In Europe, NFC was pretty prevelant. India was mixed with NFC and standard terminals. Either case, Samsung Pay worked almost everywhere.
Being a rewards fanboy, I checked the monthly statement. And yes, I got the rewards. (It is painful to check from the statement. But I did)
I have no reason to believe that your purchases via Samsung Pay in Barbados wouldnt classify for the rewards.
AR is a dope Credit card if you have Samsung Pay and it seemed to work internationally!
That being said, I heard from a few forums that SP has freezed a few terminals.
