My oldest account is a LOC I got when I was in my early 20s. It was, and is, a 500 dollar overdraft protection account. I think I was eligible because it was on a student account that had my mother as a joint account holder. Even if it isn't used for years at a time it never gets closed because Ideally it will never be used.
I've got my daughter listed as an AU on a fairly old account that usually keeps a low uti, but with how FICO is changing over time I'm concerned that a AU CC won't give her the benefit it 15 years that it would today or 15 years ago. As such I would like to get my daughter a LOC if she is eligible. Not sure about the rules for minors.
Any suggestions?
