Hi All,
I opened T-Mobile Money long ago, at the time the APY was good. Although i admit, I was expecting to meet the 5% APY they had, but trned out to not be the case due to a list of exclusions with account types. I noticed while every other place has been raising rates with the fed rate, this account has remained exactly the same.
I had some deposits going here in the past but moved them to Sofi for my volunteer EMS activiites. I just do not see much special with T-Mobile/Customers Bank. even in T-mobile stores here, they do not advertise the product, makes me wodner if they may 86 it soon.
anyone still using them? if so, why?
kinda hard to have/sponsor a bank account product when the only thing anybody hears when they hear t-mobile is 'data breach'
I sorta agree it might be 86'd, phased out, ignored etc.
regardless of how good (or safe) the product actually is, the perception is shot imo, not worth using. even if those reasons are entirely social
