I already have a Wells fargo account which it has been my first bank I ever got so it's been about 14yrs. I have recently been getting bank account bonuses from other banks and I just wanted to get some opinions.
If I closed my Wells Fargo account can I reopen it some days later with the bank bonus link and still get the $300 bonus when I complete the requirements?
It's not days, but a longer period of time to open a new account with the same bank. Generally the time is in the offer. Good luck!
I know when you close your WF accounts whether it's checking, savings, or credit card, it will still stay in your online account dashboard for 3 months even though it is shown closed. I was not sure if it will affect bonus, but a datapoint post at DoC clears this up.

Ha, I was going to pose a question about the offers I've gotten in the mail this past week (1 from Chase, 1 from Wells Fargo).
The one from WF is $325 and the requirements are $25 opening deposit, $1,000 in qualifying electronic deposits within 90 days.
The one from chase is $300 and the requirements are open the account, and have $500 in qualifyiing electronic deposits made within 90 days.
I currently bank with NFCU and Truist (NFCU is my main bank, Truist was a joint account with my late wife since they were the only ones in our area that offered safety deposit boxes). Opening an account with WF and Chase won't affect my credit score at all, correct?
I can easily split up my payroll deposit (it's all done via web) into additional accounts. I also note that since there's no requirement for a minimum for the 90 days, I can just have the funds deposited, then simply transfer everything but $25 to NFCU (or is that incorrect?).
Seems like an easy thing to do, and for $625, why not. That would have covered the cost of my upcoming flight to Paris.

Iv e done wf recently. They took the whole 90+ days to pay the$325. Also, need a $500 min balance to avoid fees. After opening the checking, I also got their active cash visa, $200 sub with $1000 spend. Pays 2%, so I got $220. I plan to close checking after 6 months to get my $500 back. They also provide free ex fico9.
This is good news thanks!
