Zelle

Hi everyone,

I have never used Zelle and have some questions, if y'all can help.  My mom needs to move money from her local bank that does not use Zelle to her NFCU account that does.  Is this possible?  She has the same email address and cell phone number on both accounts.  I read you can send money from the Zelle app if your bank does not use Zelle.  Can someone explain to me what we need to do to do this?  The amount is $25,000 if that information is needed.  If you need more info please let me know.  Thanks for any help.

Have a great day!

Re: Zelle

I think moving $25,000 using Zelle won't work as the daily and monthly "send" limits would prohibit it.  Also, with Zelle, it's usually an instant transfer with no room for errors such as inputting the wrong recipient email address or phone number. Once you hit "send" the transaction is complete and the money is gone from the sender's account.  I think for that amount of funds I would want an actual paper trail or receipt in case of any type of snafu on either end.
