I had an AMEX card that went to collection in Sept 2002. I don't remember if I ever paid the collection. Date of last reported activity was Sept 2002. There's been no activity on this card until yesterday 09-21-08. I received a True Credit email alert that Experian has a derogatory i.e. Collection reported yesterday on this AMEX card. What do I do?
