ATT/ Franklin Collections Deleted Kindof

Finally making some traction here.

This is from an old phone bill from 2006 that I thought I'd paid, but can't find proof. The OC never reported, the CA did.

Timeline:

1/04 Dispute with EX--->Verified and Updated on ALL 3 (I'm sure that was just a coincidence)

1/05 Sent FCS a PFD (still no response)

1/22 Paid ATT direct they agreed to pull it back from Franklin

1/26 ATT "suspends" collections (whatever this means, their terms, not the board's)

2/06 I call ATT and get a PIF letter from them, they keep saying it could take a month

2/23 Fed up I inaiate an online dispute with experian "debt paid"

2/23 Sent DV to CA CMRRR

2/25 Email from EX about results--->Deleted

2/26 Online disputes with TU/EQ

Anyone seen anything like this??  Either the CA got the DV and deleted, or the CA didn't verify when the EX contacted them.

Seeing as the CA updated all TU/EX/EQ when I disputed, what are the odds they will delete the rest with this successful dispute??

Any idea what kind of a bump my scores will get??  No other collections.

2/23 TU 609 EQ 612 EX 651 (FAKO)

AAoA 5.7

Oldest 10.7

Utilization 18%

Worst other baddy 120 late 20 months ago on 2 accounts

Thanks

Re: ATT/ Franklin Collections Deleted Kindof

In the future, I'd suggest a DV letter above all else with a dispute dead last if it's reporting inaccurately. BTW, the date changed by the CA from the dispute is actually required of them when a dispute is initiated. At that time, they had to update their listing and add a comment that the TL is being disputed.

If you have no baddies or lates other than the 120s you mention, then I'd guess 20 on TU FICO or EQ FICO, give or take. If comparing FAKO to FAKO, then who knows. I lost 8 points once from TrueCredit after removing a CA. My corresponding FICO on the same day increased by 58.

Illecs, You are a genius...  TU deleted and the score bumped 28 points (Hmm just like you said....)  I'll take it, because it gets me an FHA mortgage.

Feeling good at 637.

Can't wait for score watch to pull EQ on Saturday and deliver more good news.

Cheers!

I love doritos!!  I'm also getting a kegerator!!! (No credit on that one, just got a raise.)

I've also thought I never had credit problems, just money problems.

On-line CHAT with rep now, she is about to send me a PFD letter by email. Then I pay the full amount owed. Then it will be removed form all three credit report! We will see.

Thanks for the info.

Once paid, Franklin Collections will delete. I had three accounts, medical, reporting from them and once I paid them, they deleted each accout. I had a nice score jump.
