Acct Numbers

Per llecs advise i went to annualcreditreport.com to try and see my acct numbers for the baddies im trying to get removed by a GW letter.

I did not see my whole acct number on there so what is another way to go about getting my old acct numbers.  If i called both institutions and asked them they could tell me correct? It would still be in their system wouldnt it be?

When I write a GW, I usually write the account numbers like XXXX1234. That way if someone were to get a hold of it in the mail, they won't have my entire account number.

Yes, if you called the creditors, they should have your account info, not sure they will give it to you over the phone for security purposes. They might with a SS# though.
